Customer Survey Data
This page contains data from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) about the airport. All datasets are released in Excel or Comma-Separated Value spreadsheets. All datasets have an associated data dictionary with definitions for fields in the dataset.
These survey datasets contain data pertaining to customer demographics and satisfaction with Airport facilities, services, and initiatives. The current data was collected in May 2017 through interviews with 2,831 customers in each of SFO's four terminals and seven boarding areas. The sample reflects actual terminal, airline, and time-of-day market shares and are weighted to further refine actual customer traffic disbursement.
Customers were asked to rate their experiences with 19 individual categories, including 6 cleanliness measures, and their experience overall. Additional data collected include customer spending behavior, mode of arrival to the Airport, travel style, and many other categories.
The 2016 survey is also available. Earlier data can be found at data.sfgov.org. The Customer Survey is conducted annually.
